Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development program is an initiative of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its aim is to help the Emirati entrepreneurs to establish their successful businesses. The screening is done, interviews are taken then Emirati people are selected and their business ideas are practically implemented.
It is a great initiative as many young people are taking benefit from this opportunity. It will ultimately result in positive impacts on the economy of Dubai and UAE overall.
Two recent examples of the great outcomes of this program are the two new startups by the participants of Tejar Dubai.
The businesses were launched at a special ceremony in the presence of HE Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, chairman of Dubai Chamber, HE Hisham Al Shirawi, second vice chairman of Dubai Chamber and head of the Tejar Dubai selection committee panel, and Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice-president, institutional support sector Dubai Chamber and general co-ordinator of Tejar Dubai.
These two new Businesses are Moz Flowers and Maktabi owned by Moz Al Heraiz & Hamad Eghdani respectively. Moz Flowers is a concept focusing on artificial and natural flowers arrangement and distribution in Dubai, while Maktabi offers a service to small and medium enterprises, taking care of account and asset management, human resources, contracts, stores, sales, customer service, and management and governance.
